BlueBolt was the sole VFX provider on this eight-part Saxons vs Danes drama.

I joined a team of artists working on over 395 VFX shots in 9 months. VFX Work was extensive, including transforming the Hungarian shooting location to include dark age fortresses, villages and fleets of viking long boats.
The biggest challenge however was extending the large scale battles that take place in several episodes. We used plates of extras in combination with CG characters to swell out the armies to be thousands strong.
The work has just been nominated for a 2016 visual effects BAFTA award.
